Sugar Makes You Dumber

In a recent recent study released by UCLA in the Journal of Physiology they found that eating a diet high in fructose (sugar) on a regular basis (most Americans) reduces ones ability to remember and recall information. They zeroed in on high-fructose corn sugar. They also found that consuming omega-3 (fish oil) on a daily basis helps to minimize the effects of the sugar on the brain. So for those students and people in high thought process jobs who binge on sugary snacks and beverages you are reducing your memory retention and ability to perform at your peak.
