Dr. Don Walsh is a dedicated and caring doctor who takes the time to figure out your health problem and just as important, what can be done to correct your health problem. Then he takes the time necessary to explain your health situation to you so that you understand what it is and what can be done to correct it. He has spent countless hours expanding his education regarding injury and illness diagnosis and all the scientifically validated treatment options available to better help his patients.

Dr. Don as so many of his patients call him, is New Smyrna Beach and Volusia County’s only Advanced Certified Whiplash and Brain Traumatology doctor through the world renowned Spine Research Institute of San Diego. Through this program he learned what happens during a car accident, how the body moves and reacts during a car accident, the injuries that are common as a result of a car accident, how to document an accident victim’s injuries, how to reconstruction a car accident, and biomechanics of he human body and the changes that occur as a result of a car accident.

Dr. Don is an Honors graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, Florida, Honors graduate of University of Science, Art, and Technology Montserrat, and The University of North Florida. Dr. Don is one of only a few Chiropractors who are credentialed through the Florida Bar to provide continuing education credits for attorneys and their staffs. Dr. Don is also one of a very few Chiropractors to earn a Diplomate in Acupuncture through the prestigious International Academy of Medical Acupuncture. Dr. Don is certified in Kennedy Decompression Technique and Cox Flexion/Distraction (a spinal decompression technique).

Dr. Don enjoys treating his patients and works on a volunteer basis with the New Smyrna Beach High School athletes to help them maximize their athletic potential while minimizing their injury potential by the use of Chiropractic care and proper conditioning. When Dr. Don is not busy with patients you can often find him in the ocean surfing at the inlet, playing baseball with a bunch of kids, training in Jiujitsu, but most of all playing with his 8 year-old son.
